Special exhibition 'Seohwasa (store dealing in calligraphic works and pictures), Gwangtonggyo Bridge'
In the late 18th Century, a market specializing in calligraphic works and pictures was formed at and near Gwangtonggyo Bridge, Seoul in the midst of the blossoming urban culture. The special exhibition held this time sheds light on how urban culture was changed and how locals developed their taste of artworks with a focus on paper goods stores, stores dealing in calligraphic works and pictures, and private houses.
