On June 9, beginning at 5:00 p.m., the Seoul Museum of History presents a musical concert with the theme of “passion” in the 100-year-old modern hanok Baek In-je House located in Bukchon.
Since 2016, the Bukchon Concerts have been held four times every year, in the spring and fall, making this year’s Bukchon Concert the 8th of the series.
In this concert, pianists Ilya Rashkovskiy and Kang Ji-hyeon, soprano Son Ji-hye, and violinist Baek Ju-yeong will put on a passionate performance.
The concert will feature Debussy’s “Estampes” as a piano solo by Ilya Rashkovskiy; a piece by Baek Ju-young; praised as the next empress of violin after Anne Sophie Mutter; and lyrical arias by soprano Son Ji-hye including “Dongsimcho” and “Arirang.”
