<Exhibition> Special exhibition commemorating the 50-year history of the Guro Industrial Complex

Period: April 24 (Fri) – July 12 (Sun), 2015
Location: Seoul Museum of History, 1F Special Exhibition Hall

The 'Guro Industrial Complex, the Growth Engine of Korea' exhibition that reflects on the vivid 50-year history toward industrialization is held in the Special Exhibition Hall of the Seoul Museum of History. It expressively conveys the key places from Garibong Ogeori (Five-way Intersection) to Digital Complex Ogeori, and from Guro Industrial Complex to G-Valley, as well as various looks at people who have struggled to aim at industrialization for over the past 50 years.

'Garibong Ogeori' was the hub of the city where countless people from the Guro Industrial Complex would come and go at the time. The actual sites like factories, Garibong Market and beoljipchon (village of dosshouses) reveal the lives of the people from the Guro Industrial Complex, fully bearing the history of industrialization as well as the joys and sorrows of female factory workers who relentlessly built their lives.
